Sequential Valve Gating (SVG) – Controls the plastic melt flow front and the weld line position with valve operated nozzles in order to move the weld line to desired areas with the molded part.

Cascade Molding (CM)– Staggered opening of injection points with valve-operated nozzles in order to create products without weld lines.

Potential benefits realized from SVG or CM include improved surface appearance, improved strength, lower clamping force, reduced flashing, reduced cycle time as well as reduced development time.

Synventive Valve Gate systems can be supplied with either threaded/screw fit or support ring/face fit style manifold nozzles, with either “bolted down on manifold” or “installed in mold plate” actuator models and are available in either hydraulic or pneumatic actuation.

Valve gate initiation can be controlled by either time or screw position. On newer injection molding machines valve gate actuation is an option, which can be ordered when the machine is ordered. If it is an older machine an auxiliary control unit, such as the Synventive TTC Sequential Valve Gate controller would be required.
