What is Sequential Valve Gating?
Sequential Valve Gating controls the plastic’s flow front with valve operated nozzles, allowing the movement of weld lines to desired areas within the molded part. Valve gate triggering can be initiated by either time or screw position. Cascade molding (CM) is a form of sequential valve gating where the pins are staggered such that the flow front passes the delayed pin prior to opening in order to create products without weld lines.
